UK child poverty among highest of rich nations

A Unicef report, the Innocenti Research Centre Report Card 14, published 15 June 2017, has ranked 41 high-income countries against internationally agreed goals to end child poverty and hunger. It finds that levels of child hunger and deprivation in UK are among the highest of rich nations – as reported by Patrick Butler in The Guardian.
